Fireye Nexus

"Nexus Integrated Controllers" are microprocessor based flame safeguard and parallel positioning combustion control units built into one compact, user configurable package.

The flame safeguard portion of the control provides the proper burner sequencing, ignition timing, and flame monitoring protection on automatically ignited oil, gas, and combination fuel burners using IR, UV, or UV self checking scanners. Control of up to four channels (2 air, 2 fuel) using independent servo-motors allows precise positioning, accurate to 0.1 degree. A vacuum fluorescent display and keypad allows for commissioning of the system and provides a full English language description of both current and stored information concerning the burner.

"Fireye PPC 5000 Controllers" are an electronic fuel/air ratio controller for industrial burners firing gaseous and/or liquid fuels.

The PPC 5000 is designed to operate with an existing flame safeguard control system. It offers all of the parallel position functions of the Nexus control, minus the flame safeguard control function.
