| Boiler & Burner Pilot Failures |
|---|
A 6,000 volt transformer is used on almost all burners as the source of ignition for the pilot. It is used because it works well. You don't start by changing the transformer, it is a last resort when nothing appears wrong, but failures continue. However, if you have a burner that continues to have pilot failures (where the electrode settings are correct and all else seems fine), using a 10,000 volt ignition transformer will often make the problem disappear! Contact us, and a representative will be more than happy to answer any of your service related questions. |
